Industrial Bearings
Industrial bearings are found in a vast variety of applications including machine tools, oil and gas, packaging, metal processing, manufacturing, among many others. Although some bearings may work for many of these industries, others will need specialized bearing suited specifically for the industry or application it is being used in. These may include radial ball bearings (single or double row), miniature or instrument bearings, needle bearings, thrust bearings, tapered bearings, mounted bearings, just to name a few. MMB stocks several brands of precision bearings as well. These may include precision angular contact, precision cylindrical roller, and precision needle roller bearings.

Angular Contact Bearings- These bearings provide great resistance to the wear and tear of high-speed applications while also accepting radial and thrust loads. These can also be high precision bearings.

Needle Roller Bearings- Needle rollers are generally open on the inside and have a solid cage on the outside. They can come with an inner ring. An overview of needle bearings includes standard full complement and caged needle bearings, cam followers, and roller followers to name a few. This type of bearing handles high loads very well and can withstand oscillation with greater rigidity. These come in a variety of sizes and are available in chrome, stainless steel, or black oxide material.

Radial Ball Bearings- Radial ball bearings perform well in dirty environments and need very little service. These bearings are very useful in high-speed applications. MMB stocks several clearance options (C0-C5), rubber sealed(2RS), metal shielded (ZZ), and open types of these bearings. These can come with a standard set of balls or max type set. There are different options of food-grade grease that MMB can provide for these bearings.

Thrust Bearings- Typically, these bearing come as 2 washers and the middle bearing. They great for high-speed axial loads. These can come in ball thrust bearings or roller thrust bearings. The ball thrust bearing comes in a steel cage to hold the balls and are used for lighter axial loads. The roller type comes in a variety of cages and are used for higher axial loads. These bearings can also come in a 1-piece pressed housing. These come in a large variety of sizes and materials.
